A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Tral township of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir against the death of third civilian in September 21 grenade blast.
All shops and other commercial establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.
Two civilians were killed and 35 other injured in the grenade attack on the cavalcade of Works Minister Naeem Akhtar.
Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, 35, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, of Tral-I-Payeen was grievously injured in the grenade explosion following which he was shifted to SKIMS. “He breathed his last at around 2 pm yesterday,” said an official.
